I applied online and was contacted by the HR of the company. Had a general call about my skills. After few days, I got a Teams invite call with the director. I spoke to the director and discussed what I did at my previous jobs, my skills, and general stuff about the job. After that Teams meeting ended, I had another call with someone in the security team (not a manager or coworker). It was supposed to be with 2 people, but one person did not show up. He hardly asked me any questions and I tried my best to ask him a lot of questions. Besides that, I felt good about all interviews. However, after 2 weeks I haven't received any phone calls or email. Upon contacting HR, I was told they went ahead with another candidate. Like??? No information on what went wrong and honestly was a waste of time. You have people's whole career resting on your hands and this is very disrespectful.
