I walked into the store a few different times throughout the year because I knew I wanted to work there. I would ask if they were hiring and each time they said no, but to try again in a few months (sometimes retail turnover can be quick). Aveda has an amazing reputation and I personally love the products. Finally I saw the job posted on Craigslist! I emailed my resume as requested and also brought my resume into the store and introduced myself again. I received a call back from the manager, after answering a few questions I moved on to the "Talent Plus" interview with an outsourced HR guru. She asked me many questions to help gauge my work style and personality. I passed and was offered the job after a week!
