I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aveda (Birmingham, AL) in Mar 2010
Interview
Very tedious. I had a friend who worked there and I still had to wait weeks to get called for an in person interview. Then I had to wait another week to have a phone interview. Then they called them two weeks later to say they wanted someone with more experience. I respect that, but I got the feeling they take their products way too seriously.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Aveda (London, England)
Interview
The interview itself was very chill, they asked a few questions about my previous experience and gave me some questions to answer situational questions. They also told me more about the role itself and we discussed it further. Before this I had to undergo an online recorded interview too.

Interview store and regional managers. Perform some basic salon activities on a scalp and then go over some product knowledge too which is really annoying because they take forever. They are looking for people to join lower in the store and promote within.
Interviewed with store manager and district manager. Both interviews went well as we went over my prior positions and responsibilities, but had to wait for a call back for a while and ending up taking another position.
