BASIS.ed Teacher interview questions

Had a short phone interview were they talked more about the school system to see if you would be a good fit. After they set up a demo teach and interview 20 minute teach to their students (who evaluate you) and a 20 minute interview with administration. About 6 current teachers and administrators evaluate your lesson. After that their is another interview with campus principal. There is an intensive new teacher training in the summer (3 week) to prepare new staff on their curriculum.

For a teaching job in Tucson I went through two interviews and a demo lesson. Also included were informal discussions with faculty. I enjoyed the interview process. I spoke with the interviewers about school culture, curriculum, and workload and they were, in hindsight, very straightforward and honest, giving an accurate description of what I could expect.
