I applied online and a recruiter reached out to schedule a screening call. That call went well and I was scheduled for a technical interview. The interviewer seemed nice at first, although he was working remotely and spoke to his wife a few times while he was interviewing me which I thought was odd. The technical interview wasn’t too hard. The first question I needed to solve using Angular, and if I remember correctly it was basically just moving items forwards/backward across a list/schedule on the frontend. The issue was that the interviewer kept interrupting me and speaking over me while I was trying to determine my approach. He wanted me to talk through it, which is fine, but he never gave me a chance to put my thoughts together first. Eventually I solved it, but the interviewer was talking to/over me almost the entire time, so it made it difficult to think clearly. They rejected me the next day. Overall, it was just a really weird interview and I thought it was a little disrespectful the way the (male) interviewer spoke to me (female), as well as him speaking to someone else in his home during it.
