Such a waste of time. I had a 30-minute recruiter screen that went well and I explained my experience in detail. The next day a new recruiter contact me to let me know I'd be moving on to speak with the hiring manager for another 30 minute interview. The hiring manager was 15 minutes late to the interview and seemed disengaged and distracted. He mentioned that I was the first candidate he spoke with so I was surprised when I received a quick rejection from the first recruiter following the interview. I asked her for more information or feedback since the interview went well and she said "he just wanted someone with more industry experience." Is that not clear from my resume or from the first 30 minute screen where I detailed my experience? I definitely dodged a bullet if this is how they treat employees!
