      Business Development Interview

      Feb 2, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at BILL (Houston, TX) in Jan 2024

      Interview

It was 3 steps. First call with the recruiter was fine, they were putting a lot of pressure on me regarding my experience and I could tell they did not throughly read my resume at all. Moved to the next round, the hiring manager was dry, condescending and I could tell they did not like their job. They expected you to know every step in selling for Bill and made it clear that training was not in the hiring process. Moved on to the 3rd round and was told I’d be a great fit, had the experience, etc. Got a rejection email the very next day. Seems like a very unserious company.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate

      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BILL in Jan 2019

      Interview

The process was painful. I had to go constantly follow up with the internal recruiter. I had 2 interviews and then an on-site. Half of the panel did not show up, and everything was rescheduled. Then I was told everything was put on hold while they figure things out. I thought the last conversation went well, but then I was “ghosted” by everyone. It was the worst interview experience I have ever experienced.
