I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Backbase (Amsterdam) in Apr 2016
Interview
From the beginning, the whole procedure went smoothly. It started with a call from a recruiter who sounded very energetic and interested. And although I already was in a phase in which I could finalise my application with another company, it aroused my curiosity to pursue with a new hiring procedure.
The first interview was actually a lot of fun, it was helpful and entertaining and I immediately felt comfortable. The 2nd interview required an assessment, which was though, but again also very helpful; the feedback opened my eyes for other methods of recruiting, which proved to make my life more easy.
After these interviews I decided that I would be happy to be a part of the Backbase team and finalising my applications went without any errors. My personal situation was taken into account and I could start somewhat later than intended.
Altogether I can say with conviction I am happy to work here today.

Question 1
Which sources do you use for recruitment purposes?
First interview with two recruiters who were quite passive-aggressive with their questions. Got ghosted afterwards, which I find very unprofessional given that I put time and effort to prepare for the interview

From the very beginning to the end of the recruitment process, the recruiter was very informative and every step was well communicated and explained. If I needed any help I could call her anytime. I received feedback after every step of the interview. And in the end I received offer during two days after the last step.

I found the interview process to be slick and professional. It consisted of multiple stages, including a screening, a role play scenario, a presentation and then a couple of wrap ups.
