Two interviews were conducted via Skype. The first was with an HR manager and the second with the VP of Product Management. My skills were right for the position, but I didn't have specific industry experience so another candidate was chosen. The next steps would have been interviews with my direct supervisor and then with coworkers. These 2 interviews took about 3 weeks and I can assume that the following interviews would have proceeded at a similar pace. Backcountry is an intriguing company, but a candidate should be ready for a slow hiring process.
