I applied online. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Manila, Manila) in Nov 2022
Interview
The first assessment and interview were automated using HireVue. It's composed of: 1. A 25 multiple-choice question test which will give you first-hand experience on practical Bain casework as the test is based on modified Bain cases and designed to assess your approach to problem solving (i.e. strategic thinking and deductive reasoning); and 2. A video interview consisting of three questions designed to assess your business judgement and thought process
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you conduct market research to help recover the tourism industry in your country? (Non-verbatim)
Very long process. I heard that they relied heavily on seeing if we were able to use our feedback to improve throughout the rounds however because one of my interviews was running late I was not able to get any feedback to improve.
It was fine. The partner round interviews were less structured and much more difficult. Majority of my interviewers were really nice which made the process better than what I had anticipated.
2 rounds of interviews, each round consisting of 3 interviews with cases. In the first round 2 case interviews and 1 with HR. In the 2nd round you have 3 interviews with more senior profiles like managers and partners.
