They called me because I have a great resume (with only partial career history listed). Multiple phone interviews. They were all gunge-ho based on my skills and multiple phone interviews. They liked my skills for multiple jobs...until I had a panel interview on site and they saw I was in my late 50's. My appearance is very good for my age. Obviously on camera in lobby. I was early & they were late for interview. Very cold reception when I arrived. One manager was actually borderline rude during the interview. Just another know-it-all with a BIG ego. After that, I wouldn't accept a role with them even if it were offered. I had a very good read of the room and for the first time in my life, I STRONGLY felt ageism was at hand. Don't waste your time if you are in your 50's or above.
