Company's internal recruiter (from CO) reached out to me for a position (I didn't reach out to them or applied for a position). Then scheduled a phone interview with her (the recruiter) 2 days later. She called 10 minutes late. Her excuse 'I started eating chocolate and just couldn't stop. You know how that feels'. She went over the position and gave a lot of details about the company (too much). She then said the Director for the department is hard to get a hold of. She told me to expect to hear from her within 1 week and told me not to hesitate to reach out to her if I didn't hear from her within a week. She then asked me to apply for the position online. I sent her an email after applying to let her know that I have completed it. No response from her. When I didn't hear from her after 1 and 1/2 weeks, I called. Of course she didn't answer so I left a VM. No response from her. It was complete radio silence. No email as well, not even saying 'Thanks but no thanks'. Unprofessional internal recruiter..... unprofessional company.
