I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
The interview process involved several stages. Initially, I submitted an application on their website through the ‘Careers’ link. About 2-3 weeks later, I received an email from the hiring department asking me to take an online assessment that lasted about 90 minutes. A week after I took my assessment, I was invited to a face-to-face interview with the manager of the bank. The interview assessed my technical skills, knowledge of banking regulations, customer service abilities, and fit within the organizational culture. The interview was smooth. The manager mainly asked questions pertaining to why I like customer service, a little roleplay of “give me your best sales pitch” as well as “tell me about how you dealt with an unsatisfied customer” and “what do you think the future of banking looks like?” Before leaving I was also told there would be a background check and reference verification before receiving offers. About 3 days after the interview I received a call from the HR department saying I got the job and if I was able to start in 2 weeks.
