After submitting my application, I was emailed by HR asking me about my religious beliefs, once I told them (which was not the religion they are affiliated with), I immediately got a rejection email. I realize that Baylor University is "lawfully" permitted to consider an applicant's religion as a selection criterion. However, I felt deeply insulted to be judged based on my beliefs rather than my qualifications, taking into account that we all belong to a country that grants free exercise of religion. Frankly, I don't see how someone's beliefs can be a criterion in regards to getting a job interview (we are talking about an Investment Analyst position, not a Pastor position). I usually don't review on glassdoor, however, the only reason I am writing this is due to my belief that in the 21st century such an action shouldn't take place, especially from an educational institution that claims to promote diversity, and I hope that no one ever experience this.
