Waited over 20 minutes for the hiring manager. She pulled my application by mistake. She was interviewing for some sort of dock worker position that unloaded the trucks. I told her I would be interested in that. I really needed a job and went to the trouble of showing up on time and dressed professional. I just wanted a chance. She wouldn't listen to me and proceed to tell me how she could just tell I would not like it. . I was insulted. She didn't offer to put me in touch with another manager for the position I originally applied for. So I basically wasted my time. I would suggest more professional training for their managers. Have more respect for people's time. Glad I didn't get an offer that day because I later found a great job. Belk is a waste of time unless you are desperate for a job and have time to waste on unprofessionalism. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This has been my second horror story when dealing with them. Should have learned my lesson the first time.
