It takes a while to work your way through the hiring process. People all over Charleston will tell you horror stories about trying to get a job at BF. Go for an interview and never hear from them again. If you hang in there and are persistent the process may catch up to you.
The process took a few weeks and I met with a lot of people. The recruiter was very transparent and communicated with me a lot, so I always knew where I was in the process. I was very impressed with everyone that I met.

Many-Many interviews. Some with lower level employees with no decision making authority. It seemed like many of the interviews were pointless and a waste of everyone's time. 13 interviews is a LOT.

Interview
I had several virtual interviews with various leaders of the company. Each was well planned, well executed and a good experience. I was then invited to interview on site and was welcomed warmly and had a wonderful time visiting the campus and leadership of the company. The positive interview experience I had influenced my decision to join Benefitfocus.
