It was a nightmare for me. The recruiter was good, savvy and knew what she was looking for ... even got me very excited. Unfortunately I don’t even think they are aware off how the panel of group interview really shakes out. First off they let u know it’ll be an hour and a half. The first portion is overview of what they do by Kevin. Second, the mgrs interview each person in the room out on the floor. I had another appointment set up for two hrs later. I was called upon last. So I was at GC abt 2.5 hrs. Missed my other commitment. Be more respectful of our lives. Here’s the worst part, I’m a very proven track record kind of person having worked in advanced sales positions for years. My background are well established fortune 500’s... so the big issue I have is when given over two hrs to set me up on a one on one interview session there why not take the time to pick a mature, qualified and professional match of a potential manager for me. I saw the group sone seemed they’d get me. I mean if you are serious about hiring great sales persons. But no, instead I was last and set up with two guys who could not maintain eye contact and who coulda cared less if I cane from Mars that day to interview. It became quite clear to me I was being shunned after they perused my resume that they thought I’d know more than them about sales. These young men ( I say it cause I’m at least 14 yrs older than they) were intimidated and eager to dismiss me rapidly. I would think I could have been set up better with a more appropriate Mgr to at least not waste my time . Perhaps they did he a favor cause the pay wasn’t great and I’ve heard they have a turnover on staff every few months. But it was a major time waster and definitely executed poorly
