Had an initial call with the recruiter to discuss my qualifications and overview of the position. Call went great and she shared that the next step would be for me to advance to meet with the hiring manager. After sending a email thanking her for her time and an additional email a week later to follow up on the status, absolutely no response. Extremely unprofessional. Candidates don’t care if you’re moving forward with a different candidate, simply be professional and communicate that instead of ghosting them. Very unprofessional process.
