I was reached out by a recruiter. The first round interview was a microsoft teams call. The recruiter was nice and professional but he was mostly reading off the job description on the website. The position itself was rather vague. We're suppose to manage payments, risk and fraud activity from customers. There were 3 different work shifts. 1. 5am - 2pm, 2. 9am - 5pm, 3. 1pm - 9pm. Guess which shift you're going to be working as the new guy? They say that the schedule is done 1 month in advance as if that will matter. Why do people in this company need to work so early? It's remote and office setting! 5am makes no sense which leads me to believe this position is actually a 24 hour customer service call center job. Betmgm has customers all over the country. Which checks out. Avoid at all costs. I declined the offer and a month later, I get an email saying that I was turned down by Betmgm. Not very professional or transparent. They like changing the name of the positions on their website to trick people, be advised.
