I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Blackbaud (Austin, TX) in Jan 2020
Interview
They employed a HireVue interview. There were 5 questions. There were 3 pre-recorded questions, you had 2 minutes (or so) to answer it, and there was no "do overs." They alternated the video responses with 2 essay questions which you had unlimited time to answer. For a sales candidate, it took away any chance to create rapport, read your audience and make necessary adjustments. I understand, if they are getting a ton of resumes, it helps to fish for the very best, but I'm not sure this is the best way to find true talent.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Blackbaud (Durham, NC) in Oct 2021
Interview
Excellent experience interviewing with Blackbaud for this position. I met with the recruiter twice, they were super transparent about salary and next steps. The overall process and communication about next steps was timely and clear which meant a lot.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Blackbaud (Austin, TX) in May 2019
Interview
-First interview was a phone interview with HR.
-Second interview was a video conference slideshow presentation selling yourself to a panel of interviewers.
-Third interview was another phone chat with the Hiring Manager.
Overall the interview process was very unprofessional and inconsistent. The HR representative was slow to respond. She did not schedule or provide instructions for the slideshow presentation until 12 hours prior to the interview (which the Hiring Manager profusely apologized for the late notice, claiming "This is not how we work at YourCause, we pride ourselves in effective communication"). After the third phone conversation I was informed I would be contacted to schedule the next interview which was to be a demo of the platform.
As of this time, almost two months later, I have still not heard anything from HR or the Hiring Manager even after multiple attempts to follow up on my part.
