I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Blackbaud (Greenfield, IN) in Jun 2009
Interview
I was referred by a friend for the position. I don't believe I would have gotten an interview without it, as there were many candidates who had applied for the position. I had a initial phone interview with general behavioral interview questions. I then had to take a couple online intelligence tests. After that I had a face to face interview. A week later I spent a day job-shadowing and had two separate interviews as well. I was supposed to hear back after a week. After I had not heard back for a little over a week, I called, left messages, and sent emails without hearing back at all. I finally received an email 4 weeks later without any explanation, saying they had planned on getting back to me earlier, but had already chosen someone else a while back. I was pretty angry considering my main contact and first interviewer are alums from my college, and they did not have the courtesy to respond to my emails or calls after several weeks. The job is also not a very glamorous job and I believe I was far overqualified.
Former employee interested in returning. I previously felt very highly of the company, but the interview process this time was disappointing. After being told my background was a strong fit, I was completely ghosted—no updates, good or bad. The lack of communication makes it seem like the company may have changed for the worse. Even if there is eventual interest, the experience leaves me hesitant to pursue further.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Blackbaud (Charleston, SC)
Interview
Multiple interviews starting with a recruiter, then various managers. The first 3 were remote, then a day of interviews with 5 managers / leaders at head office in Charleston, SC.
