I interviewed at Bloomingdale's (New York, NY)
Interview
I was originally sent an email that was a performance assessment where I had to complete a series of questions. The exam took around 35 minutes. After I completed the exam I was emailed that I had a phone screening with a current buyer at Bloomingdale’s. The screening was all behavioral questions and they asked about trends you pay attention to. After the questions were over they told me I would hear back in 1-2 weeks. I followed up with the interviewer after 2 weeks and got no response. Then I continued to follow up and finally got a response that said I would hear back in a week. It’s been a month and I still don’t know what happened I’m assuming they moved forward with other candidates but from a company as big as Bloomingdale’s you would expect common decency and at least a rejection email.
