      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomingdale's (Philadelphia, PA)

      Interview

Everything is online until your first interview. You are allowed to chose what day you can be interviewed and what time. You first meet with the HR manager and if he/she likes you she let you meet with another manager. You will than have an interview with an executive manager. You can get an offer at that point or the executive need to discuss with the other. It depends on the position you are applying fore.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bloomingdale's (New York, NY) in Jun 2016

      Interview

I applied online directly from the bloomingdales career webpage. All email responses are electronically generated and automatic. I received an invite to schedule a first interview two days later through the same career portal. The first interview is conducted in two parts: part 1 is a group interview with a mix of other Bloomingdales candidates, followed by a one-on-one interview with the talent recruiter who moderates the group interview. In the group interview, be social and light: interact with the other interviewers (again, you are not in competition with them so promote yourself by coming across as hospitable, and a team player). The second part requires a tighter belt. While one-on-one, the recruiter will already have your resume on hand and will ask you questions specific to the materials you provided during the initial application steps.

      Interview

Applied online, received an email a few days later asking me to schedule an appointment online. Met with HR a few days later. Asked me about my previous experience and what I was looking for. He then told me about a position that fit my expectations and later that day I got a text from the department manager telling me I was hired.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bloomingdale's (New York, NY) in Mar 2014

      Interview

Fairly fast, probably because they have high turn overs. Apply online and received a e-mail from HR for an interview the next day. Applied for one position and interview for a completely different one. They lure you into the company and make you think you might have a chance to work for this amazing brand and then said you are not qualify for it. Then you start interviewing for these other departments that nobody want to work for.

Why Bloomingdales? How do you deal with difficult customers?
