I initially applied online at Macy's/Bloomingdale's career website. Then I had to go to the actual store and submit an application personally and then come again for an interview. My interview consisted of sitting down with my manager-to-be and her assistant. She didn't ask any technical questions but just on my experience, interests in fashion and sales, etc. They were quite nice and not intimidating at all.

Started with a simple overview of my past experience, mainly walking through my CV. The hiring manager was friendly and made the conversation feel comfortable, and the interview was straightforward, structured, and easy to follow overall.
