Interview
First step is an online assessment on general ability (SHL type with Verbal, Numerical and Inductive tests).
A week later, if successful, is a 30min interview with HR.
Final step, Assessment Centre (online because of Covid):
- Group exercises : imagine a new layout for a plant, given a few pages with information on their business/products and requirements for each department.
- Individual interview (45min)
- Analysis presentation: one hour to read a 13 pages documents about a company and prepare an oral presentation with analysis of the situation and recommandations. 10min presentation and 10min questions.

Question 1
During the final individual interview, there were personnal questions about previous experiences and also more technical questions.
- When did you work as a team, and what was your role within the team ?
- What is your proudest achievement ?
- When did you not meet a deadline ? How did you deal with it ?
"Technical" questions were more like open questions to see my reasoning. The examiner gave me some hints when out of ideas.
- Imagine a train safety device will go from 2 to 3 years for overhaul. What should be considered to make this change in procedure ?
- What are the technology options for train doors opening/closing systems ? Pros and cons ?
