Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked to explain the 7 layers of software and give examples for each of them. Was asked some probing questions along the way
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bumble Inc.
Interview
The first meeting was nice, the recruiter was friendly. She approached me on LinkedIn for a software engineering position. The technical test was horrible, they would ask me to do a coding exercise while they were watching my screen and constantly interrupting my flow to ask questions. It was awfully invasive and I couldn't focus on the task. It just felt dystopic. I was told that they would get back to me with the test results in a couple of days - even though I suspected I didn't pass the test for the reason explained above. Which I don't really care as I was about to stop the interview and withdraw my application due to the absurd pressure I felt doing the coding excersise. Well, almost two weeks went by and I sent a couple of emails to politely inquiry about my test results, never heard back. I just accepted that I've been ghosted. Which is totally mindless because I did not apply to the job, they reached out to me. Thank you for wasting my time, I guess.

Question 1
A silly coding exercise about manipulating and processing strings. With the added difficulty of the two interviewers watching my screen on real time and commenting almost every move I made.
