I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at C3 AI (Washington, DC) in Jun 2021
Interview
I was emailed by a HR rep to set up a 30 min phone interview with a Solution Leader. They never called me on the scheduled time! They had to reschedule for the next day which I had to cancel a meeting at my current work. So unprofessional!
The phone screen focused on my past experience and my exposure to ML/AI. More specifically, they wanted to know if I had any experience collecting requirements from clients and providing to a development team for a project/solution. They wanted to know how do I keep a clear line of communication with clients. Finally, we talked about my understanding of AI/ML.
The process took 2 weeks, 1 background interview and a writing assignment. The writing assignment was to present 5 use cases in the federal government that ML/AI could help solve. I feel like this is an easy way to steal people ideas. However, they want you to dumb down ML/AI and present in a use case for a federal client. It's also a great way for them to assess your understanding of the federal problems and how to recommend a solution with ML/AL.
After 7 days of superior research and probably writing the best paper of my life, I got a rejection email the next day saying they can not proceed with my writing assignment.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at C3 AI in Jan 2022
Interview
The entire process took about 4 months and consisted of a written assignment and seven interviews. Probably the longest hiring process I have been through, but it was well organized and very professional. My advice to the applicants - be patient, don’t stress out about the number of interviews, enjoy the process of getting to know the company and the team you’d be working with.
