I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CARFAX (Centreville, VA) in Sep 2022
Interview
Fun, friendly, and thorough. Very professional and responded quickly. Help was always available prior to every interview. The longest interview process I’ve ever experienced, but it was a great learning process and I enjoyed every moment!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CARFAX in Mar 2013
Interview
Submitted an application via the website. Received an invitation to complete a hirevue online interview. This is basically 3 very easy behavioral questions that are recorded via webcam and sent back to HR to view and share, it was kind of fun doing one since it was my first time. After that came a phone interview, my situation was unique since I was in the middle of relocating to the VA area at the time so things did not happen immediately but probably would have if I had been living in the area. During the phone interview with HR the lady told me very nicely that I am not the best candidate for the opening but she would still pass me on to the hiring manager for that person to decide. She then told me to keep on applying, even though I was disappointed that my sales background was not good enough for this job I was happy with the how the HR rep handled me and talked to me, and I appreciated her honesty.
