I applied online. I interviewed at CAVA (Ventura, CA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Interviewer (GM of the Ventura, Ca store) was an hour late to interview. And according to the construction people working on the building he was over 30 minutes late for all interviews the day prior. One small nonchalant apology was made. During interview he stated “timeliness is important”. Clearly only when their time is considered.

The process was pretty brief and straightforward, the interview lasted around 15 minutes and I was asked a few simple questions. Only one interview, after applying online, and got the job on-site.

Question 1
How will you work well with staff (given language barriers)
Somewhat quick interview with generic, but important questions that resonated with the company's morals. They asked for background information about myself and had contacted me later. It was simple and there was a sense of welcomeness.
Really quick and easy, this place has a high turnover so be prepared. You have a great chance at getting hired, I suggest transfer out of this location if possible. Decent pay , time flys fast working this job
