It's a lengthy and thorough process filled with many great conversations (interviews) with a variety of potential future colleagues, starting with a refreshingly professional, knowledgeable and supportive recruiter, everyone helping a candidate such as myself get a clearer picture of the work environment, the Team and its people. Having time between interviews helps to really process and own the information (no point rushing in wearing rose-colored glasses) is a welcome change from the typical "hire hire close close" mentality, which often leads to a high turnover (and poor atmosphere), allowing for both the Team and myself to evaluate and get a sense of one another. More interviews with my future colleagues coming up, and I'm still excited about the prospect of joining their Team. I hope the feeling is mutual!
