Interview
Initial round on campus followed by a second round in the New York office. Prior to the second round I was given a set of data to analyze. This is somewhat modeled on the business case studies used by the management consulting firms, but this was much more data intensive and the data and question to answer is provided before the interview day. Case study was very open and was allowed to use any language, tool or approach I wanted although it is clearly geared against using simple things like Excel to do the analysis.
Much of the second round interview process was focused on going through my approach to solve the data problem. There were interviews with people at all levels of the firm from the partners to those that had just joined.
Overall the process was challenging, but enjoyable.
Good! Pleasant interviews and kind staff. Helpful overall in the process. HR could've been more communicative. Interview process was a bunch of interviews in person but fairly easy. Data science more than tech I is a strength

Basically the interview process was relatively normal with the following 3 steps:

2.- SQL challenge interview (live)
3.-Data Science Challenge using Python and visualization tools (5 days to send the response)

The interviewer asked about my SQL level and my past experience as a DS.
Remote onsite interview with a principal and an engineer. Both were pretty snobby about their work, which didn't seem that interesting to begin with. Total waste of time. This company seems directionless and after reading more reviews on this site I bowed out of the process.
