I submitted the application online. I then had a few phone screen with HR. After that, I was brought in for onsite interviews. I interviewed with four people, all of who would be above me in the hierarchy, including my boss. I had another phone screen a few days later and then the offer came.

Started with HR screen, moved on to hiring manager phone interview, then phone interview with VP that manages the group. On-site interview followed, but it was the worst organized interview I've ever had mainly because I got my travel arraignments at the last minute. On-site interview was an extraordinarily hostile and rude experience. Organization sounded like it was moving in a different direction every week due to poor management. Overall, it seemed like an antiquated company that was trying to move in new directions with with managers that create a hostile work environment. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody. On top of that, the Northbrook office is the epitome of a bland, depressing suburban office.
