I applied quickly online through LinkedIn (which directed me to Cambia's job portal). A recruiter reached out to me to coordinate a 30-minute phone interview with two hiring managers. I had a call with the recruiter to prepare for the interview. She was extremely welcoming and helpful. The call with the hiring managers went well. They had thoroughly reviewed my resume before the call and asked relevant and genuine questions to gauge my experience and why I was interested in the job and company.
After the 30-minute interview, I was invited back for a 2-hour video interview with the hiring managers and a 30- minute video chat with current employees. The 2-hour interview went by quickly. They asked detailed questions about my education, job history, research and analytical experience, and personality traits. They were genuinely interested in my responses. I had plenty of time to ask questions about the role. This extended interview also allowed me to interact with my future boss and understand his personality and work style.
The meeting with current employees was laid back. The current employees had various job titles and answered questions about the company and their jobs. We discussed my background and potential fit. The current employees were informative, friendly, and encouraging.
The entire process took about a month. The recruiter kept me very informed, and they were flexible with scheduling calls and interviews. The recruiter called to offer me the job officially and described the pay and benefits to me in detail before sending supplementary documents. I was excited to get a great offer and accepted it.
