I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Canon U.S.A. (Schaumburg, IL) in Jan 2016
Interview
Initial interview about 20 minutes - going over resume and any questions. Provided lots of detail on the day to the day work and what they were particularly looking for. In less than a week, was contacted about another opportunity and set up to come in and interview for that one. Once again, initial interview 20-35 minutes regarding resume and role overview. 2nd on site interview shorter and scripted. Was asked about 20 questions that were probably sent from HR as a requirement to ask the candidate. Questions of these type are frustrating because you may not have had experience with something in particular, but the interviewer needs to put something down so they will push you to give them an answer. The HR contact was constantly in touch with me and very reliable - this was a pleasant surprise compared to most in-house HR reps.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Canon U.S.A. (Chesapeake, VA)
Interview
It was a long process but other than the phone interview, we did it one day. It went rather fast. Started with computer testing...situational type questions, typing tests and a couple interviews with upper management. Afterwards, I was sent away for a drug test.
