The company Canonical seems interesting, with a solid and serious product offering. However, several issues become apparent as the recruitment process unfolds: For economic reasons, all employees work fully remotely, which can make relationships between colleagues more difficult. The recruitment process is long and cumbersome, involving numerous interviews, personality tests, and intelligence tests. And the most sensitive point is that, like some other companies, even if you go through many interviews, if you are eliminated from the process (which is perfectly understandable), they will simply ghost you. They will not inform you, nor will they reply to your emails—even if you just ask whether the process has ended. Their ethics and the respect for employees they claim to uphold quickly start to crumble when you look closer. For these reasons, I do not recommend this company.
