I was genuinely so interested in working for this company I applied several times over the course of a year to jobs I was fully qualified for. It's really sad when recruiters/team members completely turn you off to the point you'll never apply again. I did a preliminary interview for "Sales Development Representative" which went very well, the recruiter even complimented my "really great answers", and I was told they'd contact me by the end of the week to schedule the next one. However, after learning more about the role and its requirements, I knew it wasn't a great fit for my personality/career goals and I let the recruiter know this within 24 hours, in an OVERLY kind and respectful way, letting her know how much I really wanted to work for this company and asking if I could be considered instead for another role I had applied for that I thought I'd be a better fit for (of course saying "if not no problem I'll apply again in the future...") instead of a kind response from someone who cares about hiring good people into their company who genuinely want to work for them as I have experienced with other companies, I just got the automated rejection email back and no personal response. I reached out to multiple other recruiters I was able to get in touch with on LinkedIn and via email, one of them even forwarded my resume to the proper recruiter for the role I was most interested in, and I reached out to multiple team members on that team via LinkedIn. Never one response. This whole experience has left such a bad impression and I would not want to work with people who can't even show a little respect to qualified candidates they had a great interview with, so I'll never apply here again.
