If I were to ask your manager what irritating thing he could tell me about you, what would it be?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Censys in Dec 2024
Interview
I've been interviewing a lot lately; Censys has been my worst experience to date. First I got a rejection email, then I got an interview request. Thought it was weird but went with it.
The process lasted a little over a month. I had 5 interviews with 6 people (which was different from what the recruiter told me the process would be) with a 4-hour coding assessment in the middle. After all that, I was told no with no feedback given. Asked the recruiter if they could shed any light on the decision, but they said they don't give feedback as a matter of company policy.
Their process is an inefficient use of their time and their candidates' time. And I found it frustrating that I got zero feedback after going through the entire month-plus-long process.

Thank you for taking the time to not only interview but also leave feedback regarding your experience. I am disappointed to learn about your experience as a whole; this is not what we strive for at Censys. I will be sharing this feedback with my team and we will work to improve. I would be happy to track down more specific feedback for you, as well as offer support for networking or anything else that could be helpful as you continue your search (if you haven't landed anywhere already).
