Interview was a stupidly long process. They had me interview with every single person in the department and most of them asked the same questions. They were really condescending during the process. I prioritized them and always accommodated them when it came time to scheduling an interview (including doing one at 8am), but I was still constantly pressured by HR. They are not flexible or understanding at all. One of the interview questions was what I think is a key characteristic of a successful team. I answered communication and proceeded to tell them that I have personal obligations (one of them being my family dog's surgery, which I specified) in the summer that I need to attend to and would most likely need to be remote for a week or 2. I got an email from HR later that day asking to talk, which she proceeded to say it's okay for now but I am NOT to make a habit of working remotely. Even after COVID, they are inflexible. They also highly undervalue you. I got offered a 20k pay cut because my experience isn't in accounting (it's in auditing lol) and they argued that they would have to teach me on the job. I understand that this is a nonprofit, but I got an offer at another nonprofit in an area that I also have no experience in, yet they matched my salary. Absolutely avoid this place at all cost. Another bonus was that everyone in the department hasn't been there for 2 years so there is definitely high turnover.
