My interview over the phone was really nice. I was then scheduled for a face to face the next day. The person I interviewed with was behind, but while waiting he seemed to be having a great time with the male that was interviewed before me laughing loudly talking. So much so my interview was 20 mins late. He then did not seem interested in me at all. He told me I was very qualified and would be great. Needless to say my interview was much shorter and I was not nearly as good company as the male before me. I though things had gone well but after thinking about it really it did not feel great. He said he would make a decision about the job by the end of the week. It took 2 and they sent an email saying they would not consider me for the position. I really kind of would like to know why but I think I have a good feeling why. I thinks its hurtful to tell someone they have a chance then nothing. I'm very disappointed. I live in an area that is known for a particular kind of bias () that seemed to be proven right as well. I will say the comments about the company seemed to be true, I was hoping it wasn't sadly I was proven wrong.
