I learned about the job through LinkedIn and applied from there. I even chatted through IM on the site with the hiring manager and on the phone with her. I was then contacted by a couple of recruiters and got an interview within a couple of days. The interview went well and as I was leaving the office, I was told I’d be contacted about ‘next steps’ which I took as a positive! I was called by a third ‘closing’ interviewer and that went well too! Then I got a form email that said I wasn’t chosen and to keep checking the website for other opportunities. I reached out to the interviewing manager on LinkedIn for how I could do better for other interviews and got no response. It went from lots of contact to none so fast...I wish I could know what I did or didn’t do to make them not hire me.
