Interview
Extremely lengthy, many steps, significant time expended to complete the process. Must research and prepare a presentation to several teams members. It was a lot of work for a position that was ultimately not offered.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Change Healthcare (Port St Lucie, FL) in Dec 2020
Interview
Great feedback first interview, much in common plus I had the background to move right into the role immediately. Was promised an immediate contact afterward to set up the next interview. Silence.
2 contacts on my part resulted in ghosting. Months later Change reached out 3x to see either how the interview process went or my personal favorite - why I declined the role I wasn't offered. Responded to the first contact, not responding any longer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Change Healthcare (New York, NY) in Oct 2020
Interview
Interview process started with an initial HR recruiter screening call. The recruiter essentially read from a script which proved to be a total waste of time. The next rounds of interview involved an informal conversation with the manager, followed by a team panel interview.
I found the panel interview to be somewhat positive. The panel really focused on the STAR method, so it's a good idea to have some past experiences ready to explain.
However, the HR side was atrocious. There were large gaps between communication and it was obvious that the recruiters are completely overwhelmed by the volume of hiring. I assume it is a glimpse into underlying chaos within the company. It was certainly off-putting for me as I'm fairly busy in my current job and have limited tolerance for anything that wastes my time.
