I applied online. I interviewed at ChargePoint (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2026
Interview
I received an email asking me to share my availability for an initial conversation. After replying with several time slots, I waited a day and followed up to confirm whether any of the times worked. I didn’t receive a response. A week later, I followed up again with new availability, but still heard nothing back.
I understand hiring teams can be busy, but completely dropping communication after initiating the process says a lot about how the company approaches communication.

Interview
This has to be one of the most bizarre and unprofessional experiences I've had. The conversation during my phone screening was seemingly going well. The interviewer, towards the end of the call, was asking for my availability and mentioned she was going to move quickly. Then, as I was talking, the call got disconnected, or so I thought. I immediately called back the phone number, but no one answered, so I left a voicemail. I followed up with a "thank you" email, expecting at least some acknowledgment about the call being dropped, but instead I got silence. I've just received a generic email saying I've not been selected.
I was truly excited about the potential of working for this company, but the level of unprofessionalism I experienced left a bad taste.

Interview
The First Interview went very well with HR. Second Interview was with the Sales Director. Showed up late, just asked me one question without listening to my answer. Asked if I had any other questions, still without paying attention to me. Clearly didn't want to give me a chance which begs the question of Why have the interview in the first place?
