I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Chico's FAS in Dec 2016
Interview
I was called by a location I did not apply for, as it was farther away than my closest Chico's. Nevertheless I decided to take the interview.
I was told to dress as stylishly as possible. I wore a Chico's-inspired outfit with a casual blazer. Because it was the holidays, the manager had to interview me on the floor and help customers in between questions. There really weren't any questions, though, and I brought a resume so she could review my past experience. She was very friendly and suggested since I was interested in visual merchandising for me to be hired for a support role instead of sales. She said she had to talk to the other managers, but I felt good about the interview. A few days later a manager called me and offered me the job.
I will say I did look over the Chico's page on Glassdoor before the interview and was able to make up a list of possible questions to study, but I was not asked any of these questions.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Chico's FAS (Southlake, TX) in Oct 2016
Interview
Applied the day of a hiring event. Spoke in detail to the GM that day. Officially applied online. Came in for an interview a week later. The interview was very detailed and felt personal but professional at the same time. Hiring manager did well with putting my needs first.
