The initial interview process went great, from the phone interview to the planning of the face-to-face interview. The overall planning and communication up to the interview day was great. The interviews were great until I met with the Director of Product Development. This job was open for almost a year, and clearly she did not want to fulfill it. The Senior Product Development Manager was also great and clearly you can see she was overwhelmed and overworked, & desperatly needed support in her job. The Director of PD was stone cold and reminded me of the woman in "The Devil Wears Prada". It was obvious she was just going through the interview process just to please the Senior PD Manager thinking she was being supportive in trying to hire additional help, but clearly thought the work was getting done know for almost a year & she didn't want anyone else doing it. Why waste my time if there was no true intent? The most upsetting result was that Human Resources never got back to me about the final decision, even after multiple attempts reaching out to her. That was not good company policy.
