HORRIBLE. I never post reviews on Glassdoor but this was by far the worst interview experience I’ve had. The recruiter reached out to me via linkedin and set up a 15 minute phone screen. Only 15 minutes? Seemed odd to me but I went with it regardless. When I eventually spoke to her it was incredibly cringe worthy. It started off with her telling me about the company which took about 7 minutes and then before i spoke she said "ok we only have 3 minutes left, can you tell me about yourself." This really thew me off, I looked at the time and realized she wanted to end it in 10 minutes rather than 15 (I’m assuming because it was late Friday and she was trying to go home or out so she was rushing this). I began telling her about my background feeling a bit rushed trying to fit within the time limit. On top of that, she would stop me mid way by saying "ok, got it" and then she would ask me something completely different trying to squeeze whatever she could in the next few minutes. At the end (30 seconds left on her shot clock), I asked two simple questions: 1) is the title negotiable? Her response - "maybe, but based on this conversation and experience, no". That seems a bit insulting, you did not even let me talk to you about my qualifications properly to make that judgment. I also probably would not have posted this on Glassdoor, but that comment really put it over the top for me. 2) How does this product differ from other competitors? Her response - “honestly I’ve been here a short time so I’m not exactly sure yet”. Honestly, you probably should not be recruiting until you know some basic questions about the company. All in all, horrible experience which left a bad taste in my mouth. The week after i got approached by their competitor Gong which was a much much more professional interview. They let me speak and when i asked a product question the recruiter shared his screen and walked me through the product features. Night and day difference between the two processes. I hope Chorus uses it's own product to analyze this conversation and make the correct adjustments.
