Started with a phone interview with Autumn, my recruiter. She was incredibly helpful, and has since moved on. (Thanks Autumn!) I could tell I was being interviewed during a time with a lot of change. Since she was moving on, James (Also super helpful!) was taking on a lot. Also, CivicPlus had recently acquired CivicClerk, which was adding on to everyone's workload. I had another phone interview and set up an in-house interview after that. I needed to get five references and fill out a personality quiz. I had a family emergency and they were kind enough to reschedule, which I really appreciated! I was given a project to present, and I actually had a lot of fun researching for it and interviewing with the panel. Everyone was kind and had great questions, and enjoyed the almost casual feel. I'm coming from an incredibly strict work environment, so I appreciated it. I got to do a meet and greet with prospective coworkers, and got a tour of the building.
I haven't heard if I've received the position or not, so I will update when I do! I'm getting a little nervous, as it has been about three weeks from the interview. But I really do think it has to do with the change going on in the HR department. Overall, I really enjoyed the environment and people.
