Interview
The first interview was over the phone with one of their recruiters. It went well, and they passed me on to the next interview with the Director, scheduled for the next week. After quite a bit of research and preparation, I took the day of the interview off of work so there wouldn't be any distractions.
Approximately an hour prior to the interview, I received an email that the director had something come up, and the interview would need to be pushed back. They said they would reach out in two weeks to reschedule.
Halfway through that week I had yet to hear from someone, so I sent a quick email to check my status. Another week passed before the recruiter sent me an email saying the position was filled.
I value honesty and transparency, and if I can't even get that during a simple recruitment process, then how can I expect any when actually working there?
Pleasant and straightforward. A nice selection of relevant questions and an opporunity for me to share my previous experience and relevant skill set. There was also plenty of time for questions in the end.
