This was one of the must unique, challenging, and positive hiring processes I have gone through. Early on, you are required to submit a written case study and a lot of the focus of subsequent interviews is around this case. I had 3 interviews: manager, department head, and CEO. Each interviewer had clearly read my submission in depth, and asked very thorough and challenging questions about why I had proposed the solutions I had, and pushed my thinking on weaker components of my case in real time. The interview process is well-designed to get a read, for Clipboard Health, on how I would do in "real life" on the job. Furthermore, it gave me significant insight into the culture, values, and team that I would be joining, which I feel hiring processes too often miss the mark on. It made me very excited about the opportunity and the company.

The first step in their interview process is a LONG case study. This written assessment takes hours to complete, only to receive a rejection a few days later. They claim it's because writing is such an integral part of their culture. Tbh, this whole process just sounds like BS designed to help their team get new ideas for free. Really a disgusting way to do business, particularly in this job market where real people are desperate for jobs that actually pay the bills. Clipboard Health is preying on people who need work so that they can get some free ideas. Don't waste your time with this company. Even if you ended up receiving an offer, is it worth working for such a deceitful business?
