I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Hayes, England) in May 2025
Interview
Amazing! Interviewer put me at ease immediately and explained the full process and job expectations, laying everything out and making sure I could fulfil the processes that would be required of me. I had plenty of time to explain what experience in work and life and was interested and engaging. Encouraged questions throughout.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Rhyl, Wales) in Dec 2025
Interview
It was a very relaxed environment, I was asked to complete two tests, numeracy and literacy. My interviewers were extremely through with explaining the role and what would be excpected as an employee. I felt very at ease throughout, I did not feel like I was being interviewed at all it was more of a casual chat.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Co-op (Nailsea, England) in Jun 2025
Interview
If you pass the initial assessment online, you have a telephone interview to see if your suitable for the job role and are asked why you want to work for co op funeral care. If your successful then you go on to have a face to face interview. Before your interview date, you are given 5 questions to practice and these are asked at your interview, aswell as a basic English and maths test. Mark was really friendly, made me feel at ease as I have wanted to work in funeral services for such a long time. My advice is to dress smart, prepare as much as you can and don't be afraid to bring in notes at your interview.
