I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Co-op (Rochdale, England) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview was absolutely perfect. From the second the manager and team leader walked in they both greeted me and make a few funny jokes too. It felt nice to see them as almost relatable rather than scary bosses who are there to judge. The questions themkesves were exactly as I was expecting/ preparing for and overall I left the interview happy and that would have been regardless of me getting the job or not.

Question 1
I’m sure the first question was amongst the lines of. Name one time where you provided excellent customer service skills.
Very impersonal. All done online and the logic between what constitutes a good or bad answer is totally unidentifiable. You would have better luck turning up in person and asking if you can hand in your CV and interview in person instead!

The interview process was very easy and straightforward. The interviewer was kind and made it feel more like a friendly, comfortable conversation than a formal interview. As well as one of the best interviews I've actually had.
